Swedish Sugar Cookies we make every Christmas

(Thought it would be easier to type this recipe up here than in a long Facebook comment.)

You don't have to be Swedish to enjoy these melt-in-your-mouth cookies! Experience has shown me to make this in double and quadruple batches, since they disappear.

Ingredients:

1 cup oil

1 cup butter

1 cup powdered sugar

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

4 cups + 4 TBL flour

1 tsp cream of tartar

1 tsp soda

1 tsp salt

Sugar in the Raw for pressing

Cream together oil, margarine and sugars. Add eggs and flavoring to above. Roll dough into balls. Roll in the Sugar in the Raw. Dip a glass in sugar and press. Bake 12-15 minutes at 350. Makes 6-7 dozen.
